The Midwood Festival gave our youth group a stage to share the culture of Central Asia with neighbours in Brooklyn. Students performed in costumes of khans, princesses and travellers of the Silk Road, danced to traditional music, and presented national dress from Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries.

Behind the scenes the group rehearsed for weeks, sewing and fitting costumes and learning the choreography. Thank you to the school community that hosted us and to every family that helped.
