Navruz marks the spring equinox and the start of the new year across Central Asia and the wider Turkic world. This year Turan American Heritage Association joined partner communities in New York for an evening of greetings, traditional dress, music, and a shared holiday table.

Guests were welcomed beneath the flags of the participating nations, young members of our community presented traditional gowns and crowns from across the region, and the evening closed with a group celebration in front of the Nevruz backdrop. Thank you to everyone who came and to the partners who made the evening possible.
